Goertek and Qualcomm released a next generation MR design based on Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 platform and Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 platform. The Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 supports a 3K resolution over each eye and 10 concurrent cameras as well as a dedicated XR acceleration module. The Snapdragon XR2+ Gen2 platform supports a 4.3K resolution over each eye, 90 frames per second, and 12 or more concurrent cameras to further enhance visual clarity and immersive experience. According to the report, the above design draft integrates Goertek's new 3P Pancake lenses, which can be paired with MicroOLED displays to provide the best single-eye 4K resolution display effect.
