Hosted by VRAR World, the 2026 edition of VRAR EXPO CHINA successfully concluded in Shanghai on May 15. With the theme "AI+XR Integrated Innovation for a New Era", the two-day event spanned an exhibition area of 6,500 m² and attracted nearly 100 exhibitors, covering hardware manufacturing, software development, XR+AI content creation, spatial computing and core application fields such as industry, healthcare, education, entertainment, cultural tourism, film and television, retail, investment and financing. Furthermore, the 7 specialized forums were divided into North and South venues and included the XR Developer Forum and the XR Investment and Financing Closed-Door Meeting. Over 80 prominent speakers from across the world shared their insights with the audience. A key highlight was the presentation of the annual VRAR World XR Awards, where 27 awards were handed out to honor 30 companies and 5 individuals for their exceptional contributions to the XR industry.

2027 VRAR EXPO CHINA will return to Shanghai from May 20 to 21, 2027. The upcoming event is expected to feature over 120 speakers and 150+ top-tier exhibitors. The event will feature various sections, such as exhibition zone, forum area and XR equipment experience zones. The VRAR WORLD Award will once again be held concurrently to celebrate innovation and excellence in the industry. Staying focused on the development of the VR/AR sector, the 2027 event will continue to spotlight the latest in VR, AR, MR, and AI technologies, along with their associated hardware, software, and supply chains. The goal is to foster global cooperation and exchange, share research breakthroughs, and drive the development of China’s XR industry.
