Release date:2024-07-17
Size:A+A-
On July 16th, it was reported that the Guizi Wei-Jin period ancient tomb site museum in Kuqa City, Xinjiang, a national historical and cultural city, has officially opened to the public. This marks Xinjiang's first underground ancient tomb site museum. Notably, the museum has ingeniously integrated modern technological elements while preserving the original appearance of the ancient tombs. It features innovative methods such as digital cloud exhibitions, VR virtual reality experiences, curtain projection, and interactive screens. These advancements bring the dormant historical artifacts to life.

By wearing VR devices, visitors can "enter" the interior of the ancient tombs and closely observe exquisite murals and burial items such as pottery, bone artifacts, coins, and more. This achieves an immersive cultural journey spanning millennia.
