The VRAR EXPO CHINA 2023 was held in Shanghai from October 29 to 30, 2023. Hosted by VRAR World. The event showcased the latest trends of such emerging technologies as AR, VR, MR, AI, 5G, etc., with the aim of exploring and promoting the VR/AR industry.

LAWK was among the exhibitors with its new product Meta Lens S3. In addition, the company's founder & CEO Roy Ru also attended the event and delivered a speech with the theme of "Explore the application of AI large models on AR glasses".

According to this CEO, AI interaction is the core ability of AR glasses. Indeed, AR glasses offer users a richer experience by combining the virtual and the real worlds. From the victory of AlphaGo to the release of ChatGPT, AI has approached or even surpassed the level of human intelligence in certain fields, and this huge leap will undoubtedly revolutionize human-computer interaction and bring profound impact on our life and work. Roy Ru believes that if AR glasses are iPhones, then AI is iOS.

Meta Lens S3, with the pre-sale price of 1999 yuan, integrates LAWK's self-developed AI large model system to offer music, telephone, navigation, photography, chat, sports data recording and other features for outdoor sports scenes.

As the only designated glasses brand of China National MTB Team, LAWK's new Meta Lens S3 can last up to 8 hours, and can shoot 4K pixel pictures from the first perspective to better meet the needs of cycling enthusiasts. The glasses attracted many visitors on the exhibition floor.

In 2021, Roy Ru left Ali to establish LAWK and start digital human as well as AR hardware projects, with the aim of creating China's first AI+AR brand. AI+AR  enables users to enter the world of XR as avatars, to socialize and interact with each other.

Different from most AR glasses on the market that focus on entertainment, LAWK's Meta Lens series products have always been positioned in outdoor scenes. The company believes that AR glasses should avoid the homogenization competition with VR, and must go to the outdoors in order to release the real advantages of AR. Therefore, from the very beginning, LAWK has always insisted on making an pair of AR glasses for outdoor use.
