The VRAR EXPO CHINA 2023 was held in Shanghai from October 29 to 330, 2023. Hosted by VRAR World, the event showcased the latest trends of such emerging technologies as AR, VR, MR, AI, 5G, etc., with the aim of building a comprehensive display and exchange platform for global enterprises and users alike.

Arcension showed up at the exhibition floor with its smart glasses solution based on DigiWindow. The company's co-founder & COO Domingo Deng also attended the event, and gave a speech with the theme of "Distinct Near Eye Display Technology Bonded with Mature Business Model".

Domingo Deng said in his speech that the industry is pivoting towards lightweight XR equipment while ensuring the computing power and functions, and the company provides an upgraded technical solution from ordinary glasses.

According to the company, the existing AR+ glasses have the following advantages: futuristic shape, cool content, and other functional applications, and yet the demand for such AR+ glasses is less than one million pairs per year. However, a better pair of glasses with a common look that can provide all the functions of traditional glasses together with AR features will surely sell more than 1 billion pairs a year.

Along this line of reasoning, Arcension came up with a smart glasses solution based on DigiWindow, which is able to solve such bottleneck problems as sensing, frame-less, and AI features. Embed ecological support is also optional for user diversion, including pre-sale/post-sale and software operation and maintenance support.

Domingo Deng believes that the next generation of display and computing platforms will converge, the future intelligent terminals will shift to lightweight. The company is currently doing its best as an enabler, to seek long-term synergies going forward.

Domingo Deng told VRAR World in the interview that Arcension is a very unique AR company which is very hard to be categorized. What most AR companies are doing now is to turn a device into a pair of glasses, while Arcension tries to make a pair of ordinary glasses more intelligent.

He also revealed that the company is currently developing a new piece of AR equipment, and that overseas crowdfunding is expected next year.

The company showcased their smallest near-eye display module based on DigiWindow™ technology, with a diameter of 2 mm and a weight of less than 1 gram, breaking the limits of traditional AR glasses. As the world's smallest near-eye display module, it can be easily hidden in the frame, giving ordinary glasses undetectable intelligence.

Also on display at the booth are the company's other flagship products.

Arcension is the enabler of traditional glasses, using the unique DigiWindow technology equip give every pair of ordinary glasses intelligent capabilities.

Many eyewear manufacturers believe that DigiWindow is the only display solution on the market that can be integrated with conventional glasses. China produces 1 billion pairs of conventional glasses each year, and the global wearable smart glasses market is at least on the 10 billion scale. By upgrading conventional glasses, Arcension has discovered a new continent.

Traditional optical devices often need to be a few centimeters in size to achieve retinal projection, but Arcension's DigiWindow technology can reduce the size to 2x2x2 mm, with better optical effect thanks to the company's rich experience in the field of micro and nano optics. In the future, the company will continue to explore in the field as an enabler.
